Dr. Magdalene Adhiambo Ngala-Dimba
Director, Research

Magdalene Adhiambo Ngala-Dimba is a Senior Lecturer at Strathmore University, Kenya.  She is also the Director of Research in the School of Humanities Social Sciences and the Director Master of Science in Education Management. She holds a PhD in Educational Administration and Planning from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a Master’s in Economics of Education and a Bachelor of Education in Economics and Geography from Moi University, Kenya. Magdalene is an experienced educationist, administrator, and researcher. She has a wide teaching experience at the university level with a particular interest in teacher education. She was a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa for several years before joining Strathmore University. She has experience in teaching Geography and Business Studies at the Secondary school level as well. She has presented conference papers and published articles in national and international journals in administration, planning, and leadership. She has also presented papers at national and international conferences. Having held a high-intensity, people-oriented job as Head of Academic Programmes and a Dean of Students, she has good skills in mentoring and handling students' issues. Her research interests include Teacher education, access, and equity, planning and quality in education. She has also been a Member of The Universities Fund Board.
