The MAIR programme at Strathmore University will offer students comprehensive education in international relations and conflict studies, combining theoretical knowledge, research skills, and practical and real-world experience.

• Holders of First Class or Upper Second-Class honours degrees in the suitable academic fields from recognized universities, or
• Holders of other related qualifications from recognized universities, considered by the Academic Council as equivalent to a First Class or Upper Second-Class degree, or
• Holders of Lower Second-Class degrees plus postgraduate diplomas or professional certificates from a recognized educational institution and with at least two-year relevant work experience from the date of graduation in international relations and conflict sector.
Pass the interview and entrance examination held every Wednesday and Friday at 2:00 pm

MAIR is offered as a part-time (evening class) from 5.30-8.30pm in campus. The course will be delivered through face-to-face lectures and tutorials, class discussions, guest speakers, analysis of case studies, demonstrations and fieldwork, library research, simulations, role-play, and practical exercises.

On the day of the interview, bring the following documents:
- Filled application form.
- Originals and copies of relevant certificates and complete academic transcripts with grades attained.
- Two (2) completed Reference Forms.
- An updated Curriculum Vitae/Resume.
- 3 passport-size photos.
- A copy of the National Identity Card (ID) or a copy of Passport.
- Kshs. 2,500 Interview fee payable on the interview day.
